Yesteday was an amazing experience for me, and for that I have to thank everyone who came to the Isle of Wight conference. It was a fairly inspiring day, with ideas flying around left, right and centre, with a room packed full of people with innovative, creative ideas to enhance all of our teaching.
I fully admit that I was realllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy nervous before my sessions, and I hope they were interesting for everyone involved- but hey, all feedback is very much appreciated!
I've made the presentations available to download below, but if anyone would alos like me to put any other examples of things on the blog then feel free to add a comment and I'll put things up.
What I also really enjoy about days like yesterday is getting the opportunity to actually meet people who's work you really admire and who you've struck up contact with over the net. So thanks to all of those people, especially to Lisa and David- here's looking forward to the Euro 08 project getting moving!
Good luck with all the ideas as they start to become reality over the next few weeks!
Chris

Thanks for your (p.m.) talk yesterday. It's certainly got me thinking. I'm already thinking of some podcast ideas, and the blog won't be too long coming!

Well done Chris! Despite your tiredness, you managed to beat Joe to blogging about the conference ;-)

I really enjoyed your session on the Blogger's Life (or lack of one?!!) - learned loads, reflected loads...that's what it's all about, innit?!! MisS :)
I have nabbed all of your presentations.

Hello Chris,
If you were nervous you certainly didn't look it - not only was your presentation really informative and interesting your manner of presentation was just delightful, witty and accessible. I thoroughly enjoyed it - so much so that I have been thinking over the weekend about how I might be able to put together a set of workshops for language teachers in Ireland. I know that there would be great interest in what you are doing. So I'm plotting to invite you and some others from the conference to share your ideas/materials with teachers in Ireland. I hope that may be of interest to you. I will get in touch soon when I have worked out the logistics, and the small matter of how to fund it!!! Talk to you soon.

Hi Chris
Well done for your conference contributions. You're really enthusiastic and keen to push the boundaries. I'm wondering if you are 'on the Skype', so that we might chat about Euro 08 possibilities.
