James Pearson (all the way up from Cornwall, ruining my expectations of being the furthest person here from the SOuth West), has just been talking about how to use PowerPoint to help get rid of the text book. Using a range of methods for all stages of a language lesson, James has shown people how to insert a range of media into PowerPoint, from simple clipart to videos and sound files.

Hi there everyone,
a slightly less emotional post than last time, I promise. However, nonetheless a very happy one for me to be able to write, as I have been asked to do a toolkit for the SSAT on blogging, a real honour, especially as I have really only been blogging since October. However, for all those new bloggers out there, don't worry, the learning curve is immensely steep!!
Whilst writing this I'd like to yet again say thanks to Joe who suggested me to the SSAT, and to everyone who's put up with me asking incessant questions over the last few months about how to do various bits and bobs!!
If anyone has any suggestions about what I should definitely pass on to our next generation of potential bloggers, please pass on those words of wisdom!!
