Yet again this year we were delighted to present all of our language skills to the world in the form of the by now traditional language soiree. This year, French, Spanish, German, Mandarin and Chechen were all on show in a highly enjoyable and impressive evening's worht of sketches!!
However, my word it was exhausting!!! Getting year 8s, for example, to rehearse in their own time, given that I only have them once a week (don't get me started on it!!). And yet, they came off trumps- a huge message to the parents. And to the school management, of course.
So, at a time when I should be preparing stuff for my troublesome year 11s, preparing for my year 12s etc, what am I doing... editing the video footage that one of our year 12s took. Um...priorities?!?! However, there's an annoying background buzz that's only come in when Movie Maker finalised the project- any advice?
